I'm a thirty something working mom and wife living in Halifax, NS. I have a little girl with severe life threatening food allergies, who brightens my day with her smile. Between my husband and I, we are constantly working on keeping her safe. The word anaphylaxis has become a common household term and I can drive to the ER blindfolded. Life is challenging sometimes, and there are days when I feel like I'm living in the twilight zone, but we manage.
